Okay, first off they are not bottom shelf dishwasher safe, they will turn funny shapes. Also, don't let the kids paint their nails and drink out of the them, it does not come off. You can drop them, bang them and do just about anything else. They do have a very pretty shape and easy to clean for the most part. They kids love them and they make the kids feel grownup, and happy.
